With global adoption of GLP-1s projected to surpass 100 million people by 2030, the average person using a GLP-1 medication still juggles several apps to track dosing, side effects, weight, and biometrics. Now, Oura brings it all into one place.
Oura Members on a GLP-1 medication can turn to Oura’s new GLP-1 Insights feature to gain a continuous, longitudinal view of how their biometrics and behaviors evolve throughout their journey.
GLP-1 Insights will roll out starting in June 2026 to Oura Members with Oura Ring Gen3 and newer generations in the United States, United Arab Emirates, and India.

Inside the New GLP-1 Insights Feature
GLP-1 Insights is a new experience inside the Oura App built specifically for members on GLP-1 medications. It’s medication-aware, meaning it understands your dose schedule and frames your Oura data through that lens, so patterns that might look confusing in isolation suddenly make sense in context.
At the center of GLP-1 Insights are four capabilities: dose tracking, side-effect logging, weight tracking, and a personalized insights layer. Together, they create something that hasn’t existed before for people on these medications—a continuous record of what’s happening in your body between the moments you see your care team.
Note: Oura does not prescribe medications, recommend dosage changes, or replace the judgment of your clinician. With GLP-1 Insights, Oura can be a powerful tool for understanding your body on GLP-1 medications.
Tracking Your Dose and How Your Body Responds
You can log your medication, your dose, and your schedule directly in the Oura App. Logging your side effects allows you to capture common experiences in real time, including nausea, fatigue, appetite changes, and GI symptoms. These logged experiences appear alongside logged doses, so you can connect the dots between what doses led to what side effects.
The Oura App also supports dose reminders as part of the check-in flow. If you are taking a weekly medication like Zepbound, a check-in reminder will prominently appear on the day of your dose, with the first step being to confirm that you took it. If you are taking a daily medication like Foundayo, you will receive gentle reminders to log your dose each day, along with a once-per-week check-in moment to review all of your doses from the prior week.
Weight Tracking During the GLP-1 Experience
Weight logging is now an optional part of the Oura App, and for members using GLP-1 Insights, it’s integrated into the metabolic picture rather than siloed in a separate tracker.
If you opt in to GLP-1 Insights, your weight over time appears alongside your sleep trends, activity levels, and recovery data. You can also import their weight directly from their smart scale via Apple Health or Health Connect.
GLP-1-Aware Oura Advisor
Oura Advisor now understands your GLP-1 medication as context for your personal health journey. The insights and recommendations you receive from Advisor are personalized to your medication schedule, your logged side effects, and your metabolic markers.
For example, if your Readiness Score dips in the 48 hours after your weekly dose, Advisor can flag that pattern and help explain why it might be happening, functioning as a behavior and understanding tool that helps you make sense of what your data is showing, in language that’s actionable and sound.
Nutrition Is Only Part of the Story
GLP-1 Insights is just one of many features within Oura’s broader metabolic offering. Metabolic health is foundational — it connects to and influences every other pillar of a person’s health, from sleep and recovery to stress and heart health. That’s why we’ve built experiences that help our members’ understand metabolism on its own terms, while also showing how it ripples across everything else Oura tracks.
Meals lets you log what you’re eating and see how your dietary choices connect to your glucose response, recovery, and energy levels. This feature also integrates with Oura Advisor, so you can ask questions and get more help understanding your meals in the context of your body’s signals.* For members using GLP-1 medications, meal logging adds another layer of insight into how your food choices interact with your body’s metabolic response.
CGM Integration connects your continuous glucose monitor data to the Oura App, so your glucose trends appear alongside your sleep, HRV, and activity data. For members managing blood sugar as part of their metabolic health journey, this integration turns two separate data streams into a single, coherent story.
Lab Uploads, launching June 30, will let you import your bloodwork results directly into the Oura App through Health Panels. Your HbA1c, fasting glucose, lipid panel, and other clinical markers will appear in context alongside your Oura biometric data.
Note: Your data belongs to you. You decide what to share, with whom, and when. Read our privacy policy.
