In 2026, Oura Ring officially launched in four new global regions: Australia and New Zealand, India, Mexico, and the United Arab Emirates. With Oura Ring now available to buy in these new markets, we’re reaching new milestones and empowering even more people around the world to understand their bodies through accurate, personalized data.
To celebrate these launches, our Data Science team analyzed Oura data to reveal exclusive State of Sleep reports, exploring rest and recovery trends in each of these locations.
Below, learn more about each nation’s unique traits, according to de-identified Oura Member data, as well as more details about availability.
Australia & New Zealand: The World’s Early Risers
To celebrate our launch in the ANZ region, Oura hosted an immersive Sleep Studio event at the Centennial Homestead in Sydney. Journalists and creators experienced the science of rest firsthand—from soundbaths featuring didgeridoos to relaxing tea blending.
Our latest ANZ Sleep Report revealed some fascinating insights:
- Sleep Leaders: New Zealanders lead the world with an average of 7 hours and 11 minutes of sleep, with Australians close behind at 7 hours and 9 minutes.
- Morning People: Both nations are the world’s earliest risers—43% of Australians and 39% of Kiwis identify as morning chronotypes.
- Recovery Gap: Despite the early starts, Australians have the world’s lowest daily Restored time, highlighting a need for more meaningful breaks during the day.
Availability: Oura Ring 4 and Oura Ring 4 Ceramic are now available to buy in Australia and New Zealand at ouraring.com. Oura Ring can also be purchased at JB Hi-Fi, and Harvey Norman (Australia only) or Noel Leeming (New Zealand only), in-store and online.
India: Night-Owl Nation
Oura has officially arrived in India, partnering with Cromā and Amazon to bring science-backed insights to one of the world’s most tech-forward nations.
Exploring sleep trends across Indian Oura Members, our State of Sleep report for India uncovered some fascinating findings:
- The Midnight Crew: Indian members have some of the highest percentages of evening chronotypes (59%) and latest bedtimes (12:14 AM).
- Short Nights: With consistent global wake times, India averages just 6 hours and 28 minutes of sleep—40 minutes less than the world’s longest sleepers.
- Power Naps: To compensate, Indian members lead the world in napping, averaging 53 minutes per nap, with Monday being the most popular day to recharge.
Availability in India: Oura Ring 4 is available to shop in over 100 Cromā stores, as well as online. Shoppers will also be able to buy Oura Ring 4 online at Amazon.
Mexico: High-Quality Shuteye
On February 11, Oura launched an exclusive partnership with Liverpool, the brand’s first and only official retail partner in Mexico.
To celebrate this exciting launch, we hosted a wellness-forward event for journalists and creators in Mexico City, where guests enjoyed brunch and hands-on demos to get to know Oura Ring 4.
According to our State of Sleep report for Mexico, members are getting high-quality sleep, but their bodies are working in overdrive during the day.
- Long Nights: Members in Mexico slept an average of 7 hours 6 minutes of sleep per night, higher than the global average of 6 hours 50 minutes.
- Key Sleep Stages: Members logged 95 minutes of REM sleep per night and 76 minutes of deep sleep per night, the highest in the world.
- The Stress Factor: Conversely, Mexican members record an average of 127 stressed minutes per day—the highest in the global Oura dataset.
Availability in Mexico: Oura Ring 4 and Oura Ring 4 Ceramic are available exclusively at Liverpool, both in physical stores and online.
United Arab Emirates (UAE): Masters of Sleep Efficiency
Overlooking the Burj Khalifa, Oura hosted a Five Sense of Sleep experience, where guests learned more about science-backed ways to sleep better and explored how taste, touch, sound, sight, and smell influence our shuteye.
Oura’s medical advisor and sleep scientist Dr. Rebecca Robbins presented findings from our State of Sleep report for the UAE, which highlights a population that prioritizes efficiency and sleep quality over quantity.
- Maximum Efficiency: UAE-based Oura Members are among the most efficient sleepers globally, despite averaging only 6.85 hours per night.
- High-Quality Sleep: On average, UAE Oura Members go to bed at 12:06am and wake at 7:57am, yet maintain higher quality rest compared to the US, UK, Finland, and New Zealand.
- Gender Trends: Women in the UAE sleep nearly 30 minutes longer than men (7.07 vs. 6.59 hours) and show stronger sleep-efficiency and REM consistency.
Availability in the UAE: Oura Ring 4 and Oura Ring 4 Ceramic are now available to buy in the UAE via ouraring.com and retail partners including Amazon.ae, Go Sport, Virgin Megastores, Dubai Duty Free.
