Today, Oura announced it has purchased 500 Pine Street to serve as its permanent headquarters, marking a long-term investment in the company’s future and in its people.

Owning its building gives Oura teams a permanent space to come together, providing employees with opportunities for collaboration and connection in a city known as a hub for tech innovation.
Built for the Way Oura Works
500 Pine, a 56,179 square foot building, will undergo renovations through the remainder of 2026 to create a home purpose-built for Oura’s teams. Designed around collaboration, the space will bring together Science and Design labs, a Hardware lab, and operational teams including HR, IT, Real Estate, Security, Product, and Finance, all working under one roof. An interconnecting terrace staircase links the two main floors, built to encourage movement and collaboration between departments as well as offering a communal gathering space.
The space includes conference rooms, huddle rooms, cafe seating, conversation booths, soft seating, and touch-down areas, all built to support both focused work and creative collaboration. A rooftop outdoor space rounds out the building, designed for employee gatherings, wellness, product demos, hosting partners, and community moments.
The renovations will also carry Oura’s identity throughout the space, preserving the building’s original fireplace as a subtle nod to Oura’s Finnish heritage and incorporating Nordic touches alongside warm, neutral finishes, energy-efficient lighting and climate controls, and a living greenery wall. Storytelling elements woven throughout the building will trace Oura’s evolution, from the company’s earliest beginnings to the ring it creates today.
The building is LEED BD+C Gold-certified, reflecting a building designed and constructed to a high environmental standard.
Rooted in Finland, Growing Globally
Oura’s foundation remains in Finland, where Oura Health Oy continues to lead core engineering, product, and innovation work. As Oura grows globally, San Francisco will serve as the company’s headquarters and one of several important hubs supporting its expanding teams around the world. Purchasing 500 Pine marks an important milestone for Oura at a time of strong momentum, and the work ahead will ensure the building becomes a long-term home that supports the company’s people, culture, and continued growth.
