Our manufacturer’s warranty

Every Oura Ring comes with one or two years of warranty coverage based on your generation ring. You are covered in cases of defects due to material or workmanship. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, including scratches and dents caused by handling, or consumable parts, such as batteries. You can read our Warranty FAQs for more information.

Why add Extend?

Extend provides coverage for your product against accidental damage caused by breaks, drops, spills, and more. While your Oura Ring is waterproof, accidental damage coverage can include a spilled sports drink or other beverage.

A protection plan extends mechanical and electrical failure coverage after your manufacturer's warranty expires. You may also be covered for accidental damage not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty from day one.

Why should I add an Extend protection plan?

Extend provides coverage for accidental damage not covered by our manufacturer’s warranty starting on day one. After your manufacturer warranty expires, you’re still covered in case of mechanical and electrical failure for the remainder of your Extend coverage term.

What do I need to provide if I file an Extend claim?

When filing a claim with Extend, you will simply need to provide either your contract ID, email address, or another identifying piece of information.

What if I need to return my Oura Ring?

If you return your ring, Oura Ring returns the money you paid for the protection plan. Depending on how much time has passed since your purchase, Extend may issue a prorated refund.
