In May 2025, Bria, a 29-year-old dance coach, set out on her honeymoon in Japan. During the trip, Oura’s Symptom Radar feature began to alert her to major signs of strain in her body and she had night sweats almost every night. Initially, she chalked up her symptoms to lifestyle changes and stress.
Upon returning home, she saw a doctor who only suggested changing her diet and taking an antacid for the reflux. Trusting her intuition and her Oura data, Bria advocated for herself and insisted on an X-ray. A 12cm mass was found on her lung, and she was diagnosed with Stage 3 Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
That discovery set off a health journey the newlywed and her now-husband never expected to be on, but approached with bravery, compassion, and positivity. And fortunately, it had a happy ending. Recently, Bria received the life-changing news that she is cancer-free.
