The advent of Oura Ring 4 Ceramic marks a bold new step in the design philosophy of Oura, offering four stunning ceramic colors inspired by nature—Cloud, Pedal, Tide, and Midnight. Inspired by traditional ceramic colors, these coatings go through a traditional firing process that strengthens the material and gives it a smooth, polished finish that’s built to last.
“The Ceramic Collection marks Oura’s biggest hardware launch of 2025, and signals a shift from technology that blends in to technology that stands out,” says Doug Sweeny, Chief Marketing Officer at Oura.
“Our creative approach to the campaign leans into color-driven storytelling featuring lifestyle vignettes as well as a broader TV spot, meant to drive cultural conversation and show that you don’t have to compromise style for better health.”
This series of vignettes illustrate how these colors look in a variety of settings and on a diverse cast, showcasing self-expression through color, interests, and importantly, people working with their hands.
“Leaning into the aesthetic innovation and premium materials of the Ceramic Collection, this campaign stakes our claim as the smart-ring category owner with fashion and wellness credibility,” Sweeny notes.
The Handshake
This vignette was born out of the idea of a secret handshake between two good friends. Their choreographed handshake serves as a symbolic reunion, as well as the matching Tide-colored Oura Ring on each of their hands.
The Routine
We knew we wanted to build a vignette around what Oura is most known for: sleep. This idea was truly born from culture, made to represent our members who take their nighttime routine to a whole new level. We see you, sleepyheads.
The Change-Up
With the launch of Oura Ring 4 Ceramic, we’re also launching the ability to quickly switch from one Oura Ring 4 to another, as easily as changing your outfit. This vignette highlights this capability and shows how versatile the Ceramic Collection can be—from the pool to a night on the town.
The Wash
Color is a powerful way to express yourself. We wanted to show how the Ceramic Collection can enhance a passion that you already have—whether that’s painting, pottery, or classic cars. If you like pink, you’re going to love Petal. And yes, the car was the exact color of Petal.
The Look
For this vignette, we wanted to show how Oura was adding to the long history of ceramic. Placing the Midnight Oura Ring in the midst of other ceramic artwork felt like a natural evolution. Get ready to meet ceramic like you’ve never seen before.
