Your Oura Membership just got even more powerful. With Health Panels, Oura Members based in most U.S. states can now schedule comprehensive lab tests that measure 50 health biomarkers and get results—all within the Oura App. Priced at $99, this feature is rolling out starting October 21 to Oura Ring Gen3 and Oura Ring 4 Members on iOS and Android.*

Focused on clarity and personalized insights, Health Panels brings together the power of Oura’s daily insights with more detailed data on your long-term health. Whether you’re optimizing for performance as you age, want to learn more about your body, or track certain biomarkers, Health Panels makes it simple to take meaningful action to improve your health.

*Health Panels will be available exclusively to Oura Members (ages 18-64) based in the United States through the Oura App. Not available in Arizona, Hawaii, New Jersey, New York, or Rhode Island due to state-level legal and regulatory restrictions.

Health Panels are HSA and FSA-eligible.

Oura’s Approach: Accessible, Personalized, and Integrated

“There is a reason physicians emphasize the results of blood testing: It is an objective way to understand someone’s current state of health, and look into the future for risks on the horizon,” says Chris Curry, MD, PhD, Clinical Director of Women’s Health at Oura. However, traditional lab testing can be expensive, confusing, or hard to access.

Find Health Panels in the Main Menu of the Oura App.

At $99, Oura’s Health Panels feature offers more affordable and more comprehensive testing than most panels on the market, with the added convenience of in-app scheduling at one of Quest Diagnostics’ 2,000+ locations across the U.S. Then, your results are delivered right to your Oura App.

“The panels offered were selected because they provide information for the here and now, as well as give a sense of what conditions someone is at risk for,” Dr. Curry explains.

“Moreover, they are not numbers for the sake of numbers; in fact, behavior change can change the results—like changing your diet and exercise can improve cholesterol results—and changing the results for the better can help support healthier outcomes.”

With Health Panels, you’ll receive clear and easy-to-understand results that are:

  • Comprehensive: Covering 50 key biomarkers related to your cardiovascular and metabolic health, kidney function, liver function, inflammation, and immune system.
  • Clear: See which values are in range, above range, below range, or critical. If any results fall in the “critical” range, you will receive a call and a message from a clinician from our partner, SteadyMD.
  • Personalized context: Get AI-powered insights from Oura Advisor, which helps connect your lab results to your daily behaviors and long-term health goals. For example, you can ask “What does my A1C of 5.7% mean?” or “How can I improve my cholesterol profile?” and receive clear explanations, personalized tips, and actionable next steps.
  • Shareable (if you consent): Your results can be shared with a healthcare provider through a downloadable report, enabling you and your provider to track trends over time.

With Health Panels, your biomarker data can reveal patterns and connections between your lifestyle, behaviors, and overall health trends, enabling you to make changes that improve your health in the long term.

Health Panels: Frequently Asked Questions

Where are Health Panels available?

Health Panels are currently available in most U.S. states except Arizona, Hawaii, New Jersey, New York, or Rhode Island due to state-level legal and regulatory restrictions.

Who can order a Health Panel?

Oura Members between the ages of 18 and 64 who own an Oura Ring Gen3 or Oura Ring 4 with an active membership can order a Health Panel directly through the Oura App on iOS or Android.

How do I order a Health Panel?

You can schedule and pay for your lab test through the Oura App with sample collection appointments available at one of 2,000+ Quest locations within the U.S. You then visit a nearby Quest location for an in-person sample collection.

How long does it take to get my results?

Initial results typically begin appearing in the Oura app within 24 to 48 hours after your blood draw. However, full processing can take up to 15 business days, depending on the complexity of your sample and lab volume.

In most cases, you’ll receive your complete results sooner than that. You’ll get a notification in the app via a Spotlight card as soon as new data is available.

How much do Health Panels cost?

Each panel costs $99. Health Panels are also HSA and FSA-eligible.

What payment methods are supported?

What’s included in my Health Panel results?

Your results include 50 biomarkers spanning categories such as:

  • Metabolic health (glucose, insulin, HbA1c)
  • Cardiovascular health (cholesterol, triglycerides, ApoB, Lp(a))
  • Liver and kidney function (ALT, AST, creatinine, eGFR)
  • Inflammation and immune markers (hsCRP, white blood cells)
  • Blood and electrolyte balance

How are Health Panels different from wearable data?

Oura Ring tracks real-time physiological data—like sleep, heart rate variability, and activity—while Health Panels provide cellular-level insight into how your organs and metabolism are functioning. Together, they give you a complete view of your health.

Who reviews my results?

Your test is processed by Quest Diagnostics and reviewed by clinicians from SteadyMD, Oura’s U.S. medical partner. If any results are in the “Critical” range, you’ll receive a call and secure message from a clinician.

What if a result is outside the normal range?

Each biomarker is labeled In Range, Above Range, Below Range, or Critical. Non-critical results are for you to review and discuss with your own clinician as needed. Critical results trigger a call from a SteadyMD physician for immediate follow-up.

Can I share my results with my doctor?

Yes. You can download a shareable report from the Oura App and bring it to your healthcare provider to review trends and next steps.

How does Oura Advisor use my Health Panels data?

Oura Advisor provides AI-powered guidance with Oura Advisor based on your lab results and Oura data. For example, you can ask Oura Advisor:

  • “What does my A1C of 5.7% mean?”
  • “How can I lower my LDL cholesterol?”
  • “How does my sleep affect my inflammation levels?”

You’ll receive personalized, evidence-based explanations within the Oura App.

How often should I test my biomarkers?

Most members test once per year to establish a baseline. If you’re making lifestyle changes—like adjusting diet, training, or supplements—testing every three to six months can help you measure progress.

How are my data and privacy protected?

Lab tests are processed by Quest Diagnostics, which is a HIPAA-covered entity. Data displayed in the Oura App are protected under consumer privacy laws and are not shared without your explicit consent.

Can I use Health Panels if I live outside the U.S.?

Not yet. Health Panels are currently available only to U.S. members, but Oura is exploring future international availability.

What happens if I move states after ordering?

If you relocate to a state where Health Panels aren’t available, you won’t be able to schedule a new test until the service expands to that region.

Do Health Panels replace seeing a doctor?

No. Health Panels are meant to complement, not replace, medical advice or diagnostic care. Always discuss abnormal results with your licensed healthcare provider.

Are Health Panels covered by insurance?

Health Panels are not insurance-billable, but they are eligible for HSA and FSA reimbursement.

Oura Ring and Membership are now FSA and HSA eligible.

Can Oura detect diseases through Health Panels?

Health Panels are not diagnostic tools, but they can reveal trends and early signals worth discussing with your clinician—helping you take action before issues arise.

How does lifestyle affect my results?

Your biomarkers mirror your daily choices. Sleep, stress, nutrition, and exercise all influence your glucose, cholesterol, and inflammation levels. Oura helps you connect these dots through trend analysis and Advisor insights.

What if I don’t see the Health Panels option in my app?

Make sure you’ve updated to the latest version of the Oura App, have an active Oura Membership, and reside in an eligible U.S. state. If you still don’t see the option, contact Oura Support via the Help Center.

Can I cancel or reschedule my test?

You can cancel up to the same day of your appointment in the Oura App. If you cancel your order before testing, a $5 non-refundable fee will apply and the balance will be refunded. You may not cancel your order after your test has been performed. If any test results are invalid, you will be invited to retest at no additional cost. If you do not want to retest, a full refund will be available. Refunds will be processed in 5–10 business days and go back to your original payment method.

If you miss your scheduled time and didn’t cancel in advance, you can either cancel the test for a refund or visit the lab as a walk-in within one year. There’s no option to reschedule a missed appointment through the Oura App.

Where can I learn more about interpreting my results?

Use Oura Advisor in the Oura App for plain-language context and lifestyle guidance based on your data, and share your downloadable report with your healthcare provider for medical interpretation.

Note: We do not provide clinician-by-clinician biomarker explanations on the blog or in-app; critical results are handled via direct outreach from SteadyMD.
