Measurement data includes your heart rate, movement and temperature data collected via the ŌURA ring, and based on it, the ŌURA ring and the App calculate a variety of parameters for your use via the Service, such as sleep duration, sleep phases (deep, light, REM, awake), and time spent at different activity levels during the day. This information is used to gauge the quality of your sleep, level of your recovery, and balance of your activity.
Other Data. When we provide the Service to you, we want to make the Service easy, useful and reliable. This involves collecting other information which does not identify you and we do this by utilizing:
- Google Analytics
- Server Logs
Google Analytics uses “cookies”, which are small text files placed on your computer, to collect standard internet log information and visitor behavior information in an anonymous form – no personally identifiable information is collected about you unless you explicitly submit that information to us. Google Analytics is a free tool that lets us see what’s going on with our website traffic, where our visitors are coming from and what are they doing on our website. Most web browsers allow you to turn off cookies. To do this look at the “help” menu on your browser. Switching off cookies may restrict the use of the Service and/or delay or affect the way in which it operates.
We and our service providers use server log information for purposes such as calculating site usage levels, helping diagnose problems with ŌURA’s servers and administering ŌURA’s websites. These server logs may include information such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address, host name, browser type, browser language, the date and time of your request, the time(s) of your visit(s) and the web page(s) that you visited. Collecting IP addresses is standard practice on the Internet and is done automatically by many web sites.
